Intro
My name is Omari Walker but I go by MrDraMatic (or you can call The Evil Genius Supreme; your choice). My mission is simply to make money by helping you to make beats and money. The computer and internet have changed the music game entirely. It used to be that you would have to save all of those Taco Bell paychecks for months just to get your first MPC or Yamaha keyboard from the pawn shop before you could even think about making beats. Then, if you wanted to make money from your beats you would have to politic with local artists and hope that they like your beats enough to use them AND pay for them.
Now, there is software that you can use to make beats on your computer for cheap or even free. Producers can show off their beats to their friends as soon as they are created on Facebook. There are online artist communities with remix contests and support to help you become a better producer. It's even easy for independent artists to get there songs on iTunes, available for the entire world to purchase. Technology has made it simple for independent producers to get exposure and get paid.
I've been making my own tracks since 1994 and I know how tough it is to get your music out. I've researched software, equipment, and websites to constantly improve my craft and to make money. Let's face it; making money doing what you love to do is the goal here. So, I'm here to pass on my knowledge so that it will be easier for you to get up and running and get paid.
